You spoke Japanese well. How long have you been in Japan?
Akihabara, my favorite place. I’ve spend more time there then any other place in Japan. <3 I’m so bad XD
Very interesting!
I thought that was a woman as well. Lol derp.
スーパードルフィーとか、チューリップやダルみたいなドールが欲しくなったりしますが、1度買ってしまったら終わりだと思っている。 ttp://item.rakuten.co.jp/groove/c/0000000102/
well some arent lazy and immersion helps a lot, if u live there, in my opinion you dont have to try that hard to speak, reading and writing however requires effort :p
she speaks good japanese for a gaijin

がんばれ!!!!
Was in the one in Shinjuku, not as big as this one, but still for a westerner it was beyond belief. A gear lovers paradise!
This is a ‘chain’ store. There’s one in Osaka also which isn’t quite as big as the one in Akihabara but still has the same stuff
I am going to be in Japan in two weeks time. This has been added to my to do list.
Hello Matt. You wrote wrong the title. The correct is YODOBASHI.
is your name Matthew?????bc thats my name too!!!!lol
yes, very cool store
they have more stuff than B&H!, awesome, I’d love to visit them one day!
Any chance of a Sigma 35 f1.4 review in the not so distant future, Matt?
Great blog Matt, wish we had a similar shop in the UK, that’s a photographer’s heaven. Btw, noticed that you pronounce it as both “Nikon” and “Naykon”, I just can’t stand the latter, just like “Ayraq” or “Ayran”
One of the greatest surprises I get in all my trips to Japan, the stuff is made there, yet costs 30% more than Australia.
Thats where i got my D800.. yoroshiku matt
more leica:(
Matt: please review the @6:41 Sigma 35mm 1.4 when you get a chance. It seems to be getting rave reviews at least for Canon mount.
I think I wet myself.
HEAVEN !
I live less than an hours travel away from Yodobashi Osaka… >:P
Sony and Panasonic are always making Japanese language versions only for here in Japan.
Sounded/looked like the girl behind the counter in the pro corner was about to tell you to stop shooting )
Wow, this store is huge. I think B&H in New York is smaller.
I would soo love to go to this shop !! I’d be like a kid in a sweet shop! Great job on the vlogs Matt, it’s so great to see an insight on this stuff. We have nothing like this over here in the UK and after Jessops (the only real dedicated major camera shop) went into administration I just wish we had something like this over here.
Or a great day trip for That Nikon Guy to an Assembly Plant Tour to one of Nikon’s six plants in Japan (Oi Plant, Kumagaya Plant, Yokohama Plant, Sagamihara Plant, Yokosuka Plant or Mito Plant)
You forgot to say that there is also a huge cosmetic and beauty section right next to the cameras,
so it’s no problem you go there with your wife. She might need even longer time there then you with the cameras and maybe spend more too : )
