You can’t even speak your native language correctly. Why would you take on a second language?
I will say Bottle Fairy is a fun way to learn about Japanese culture in general, since it’s geared toward little kids the way sesame street it. Not the language, but some of the holidays and the ways people celebrate the rituals of life.
If you are serious about learning japanese i advise you to download Rosetta Stone and
Pimsleur-Japanese first.Both softwares are good,different learning approach,but
both are awesome.

Even though I agree, I actually learned some phrases English with movies, cartoons and other media, of course I needed to go to school to learn (which I did) but what I watched made it a little bit easier for me to learn it. It’s true you wont learn Japanese because of watching anime, but you’ll remember some things and make it a bit easier to learn the language when you study it.
learning foreigner language by watching animation is stupid and makes no sense? when i was a kid i used to watch jhonny bravo, donald duck etc in english. it was my main source of english. i have a lot of friends who learnt germany, english etc by stupid cartoons. i don’t think i sound like donald…
