In this video you’re right, it’s cooked :) Very uncommon for sushi but we love it anyways :D

You’re close! They are not the same for ALL of them, but for many we used the same clip. Basically with the shooting/editing/etc involved in each step we realized we could shoot cutting cucumber & avocado scenes over and over again – or, we could reuse some of the redundant footage and show more recipes. We assumed our viewers would prefer the latter so that’s the route we took. :D

is it just me or does it seem to everyone else that the cucumber and avacado cutting scenes are the same pice of cucumber and avacado everytime. I mean like the same cucumber and avacado cutting scene for every video

Ixabel, thanks for sharing that with us! Many people are afraid to eat raw foods and I guess some are even afraid of cold foods for various reasons. Even if you’re not into sushi I’m glad you’ve found other Japanese foods to enjoy :) Sometimes I feel like a lot of people miss out on the other great dishes we have in my country b/c they’re so focused on the sushi, but the other dishes are wonderful too~! Thank you for visiting and commenting :D

Honestly I’ve never tried sushi in my entire life! I think its because im afraid to eat cold or raw food I usually like my food cooked ((( (^o^)/ ))) but I am not a huge fan of cold rice ^,^ but I love japanese food, every friday i eat at Maki Of Japan (it is the best place EVER)

We just looked it up and you’re right! Thanks for the information, we’re wiping the egg off our face now :)

1 block of cream cheese is like $3 US over here. So when I make these it must be special.

You could always cook the chicken on the stove top :) Sorry we were so delayed in our response, it was spring break and we were with our children the whole time :D

I sure would! We have some near our house, and there’s a great place just outside of NYC that is ~$25 for all you can eat sushi. I LOVE it :) Food poisoning can happen anywhere, but by using a little common sense on where you eat these kinds of foods you can cut down the chances of getting sick significantly.

Thanks krazygal! We think once you try sushi you’ll be a huge fan :) Raw ingredients may seem abnormal in our modern society, but that’s where we started from, right?! I’m a huge sushi fan (as you’ve probably guessed) and if you have any questions about it feel free to ask. Glad to have you visit our channel, thank you :D

Here’s a suggestion on how to make the chicken flavored: Whiten the chicken in a pan and when the chicken’s all white, add some Kikkoman teriyaki SAUCE with pepper and then add the teriyaki BASTE to the chicken when the sauce is fully absorbed into the chicken. Sure it takes longer, but it tastes amazing.

And by the way, I put the words sauce and baste in all caps because it’s easy to get the 2 confused.
