    I’m cosplaying this year at Anime Expo. I’m gonna go in there and start yelling, “SAY IT LOUD! I’M BLACK AND I’M PROUD” Lol.

    I have gone to Anime Boston to people watch for the past three or four years and I’ll tell you what I’ve learned: You don’t have to be limited by your race, gender, height, weight, age, or looks when it comes to cosplay! I have seen every version of gender flipping/ race switching/ unusual interpretations. I think people are amazingly cool and brave and having the time of their lives.

    Not to imply covering up, but black people tend to have the BEST superhero physiques when it comes to full/nearly full body costumes. Most movie realistic spider-man I ever saw was a black guy, and sexiest deadpool EVER was a black girl. Never saw a black girl in ANY costume that didn’t rock it.

    There is this one guy that has become an icon at my local con for being a black Rock Lee from Naruto. Everyone loves him. You can’t find a black character, make them black and work it! Just have fun with it :D
