    Okay, thank you cause I noticed the kanji was different than 薔薇 which is bara as in rose the only confusion I have left is why you use katakana for bara I mean bara isn’t a foreign word so why not use hiragana? Thank you for your time, much appreciated!

    バラ=rose 原(はら)=field When you add a kanji to 熟語(jyukugo), it usually gets a “(てんてん), so hence 原(はら) becomes 原(ばら). So in a way you are right too!
